Ready for Halloween...

My first Halloween, and my first poem!

At first I was unsure what to be.
Mom said I'd look good in anything.

Daddy always has football on the brain.

Don't worry, Mom still thinks "Clemson is lame".
I hope the night will not get too cold...
Lots of candy to be had, I'm told.
I'm ready to go have lots of fun.
If only I could bounce, walk, or run!

VT vs. BC

Now let me tell ya, I was pretty excited about watching this game with Mommy.
VT scored 10 points within the first 4 minutes of play time! We were feeling pretty good!

The 2nd quarter was disasterous and left us both shocked and dismayed...

We were able to prevent BC from scoring any additional points in the entire second half, but we needed atleast one more touchdown, and time was running out...we anxiously watched the clock tick down...
But alas, we just couldn't get it done. Can you believe it????

But, don't I look cute in my VT outfit?

Oh Yeah....Clemson lost to Georgia Tech this week too...I just can't take it!!!

Daniel Rolls Over!

This just in...1:10pm PT...Daniel is laying down for his nap, but we are talking and playing around--not quite ready to sleep yet. I put Daniel on his stomach and he did a few push ups, then a few half-rolls. On the 5th half roll he had enough momentum to roll all the way onto his back. I was surprised and excited and he just looked at me like I was silly! With this new skill, now we will have to be even more careful with him!

Learners Permit

After just a few short driving lessons, I am confident I know just as much as those crazy adult California drivers!
I have learned to check my right mirror...

then my left mirror...
before backing out of my parking spot.
When it comes to changing lanes, I am a real pro--always remembering to check over my sholder to make sure the lane is clear.
I always use my signal and when a nice driver lets me in their lane, I always give a courtosey wave of thanks...

If only everyone was as courteous!
